Cryostats with magnets (cryomagnetic sample environment)

Cryostats with magnets are part of the sample environment enabling neutron experiments under controlled low-temperature conditions and in the presence of strong magnetic fields (up to several tesla). The combination of cryogenics and magnetic fields allows studies of magnetic materials, superconductors, and quantum phenomena in systems with strong electron–electron interactions.

A vertical field magnet is a system enabling neutron experiments in a magnetic field oriented perpendicular to the sample plane under cryogenic conditions.
