Dynamic Neutron Radiography Facility

The neutron radiography facility enables non-destructive imaging of the interior of objects using neutrons. In contrast to X-rays, neutrons are particularly sensitive to hydrogen, which allows the observation of phenomena that are inaccessible to conventional X-ray radiography.

The facility enables the investigation of the kinetics of slow processes with relaxation times on the order of approximately one second.

This technique is applied both in fundamental research and in advanced industrial diagnostics.
